The "current best ways" is an important concept as one of the basic tenants of Standardized Work is that you are always looking for better ways to do work. When implement Standardized Work Sheets use photos, simple diagrams, and plain text to make work instructions and present them in a very clear manner.

• Print your standard work instructions and post them where workers can see them as they do the work
• Train your supervisors to perform an effective Standard Work Audit - to ensure that your people are actually doing the work in the ways defined in your Standard Work Sheet.
