Evacuation Map Template

What is it: An Evacuation Map is usually an A4 size document that is displayed in a main entrance or hallway that shows the procedure in an event that an emergency and that an evacuation of the work place is required.

Why use it: Evacuation Map will give directions in the case of an evacuation. An evacuation map will show any one who enters the building the central evacuation point that everyone needs to meet after the building has been evacuated.

Where to use it: Evacuation Map should be placed in a high visibility area where both employees and visitors will see during the entrance of the building.

When to use it: Evacuation Map should be seen daily and used to assist in incase of an evacuation.

How to use it: Evacuation Map should have an illustration of the layout of the complex and evacuation point incorporated into the image. The map should contain instructions of what to do incase of emergency and also key contact information. The template will assist in meeting those objectives.
