What is it: Cluster Sampling is a simple random of groups, or clusters, of the population. Each member of the chosen clusters would be part of the final sample. Cluster Sampling is a miniaturized version of the overall population.
Why use it: Cluster Sampling if used properly, can be a very cost effective way of collecting a random sample from the population. When to use it: For very large potential data. How to use it: For Cluster Sampling to be effective, it is assumed that each cluster selected for the example is representative of the population overall. The templates in the Cluster Sampling package will assist in the statistical analysis.
